Crosswinds to be Shown at 2026 EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh

April 29, 2026 – Crosswinds: The Courageous Life of Cornelia Fort, an 80-minute documentary produced, directed and written by Redwood Educational Technologies, will be shown at the 2026 EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on Wednesday, July 22 at 2:30 p.m. in the SkyScape Theater in the EAA Museum. Cornelia was the first female pilot to die while on active duty. Before her U.S. Army career as a member of the Women’s Auxiliary Ferrying Squadron, the WAFS, Cornelia was a civilian pilot instructor who was in the air with a student over Honolulu on Dec. 7, 1941 when the Pearl Harbor attack began.
