Aug. 8, 2026 – Following the screening of Crosswinds: The Courageous Life of Cornelia Fort on Wednesday, July 22 at the EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, the 90- minute documentary is now available for streaming at the Crosswinds Cornelia website. With a new segment on the BT-13 mid-air collision that claimed Cornelia’s life on March 21, 1943, Crosswinds dispels myths that have persisted for years about the cause of the tragic accident. The BT-13 featured in Crosswinds is owned by the National WASP WWII Museum in Sweetwater, Texas. Andrea McGilvray, WASP Museum BT-13 pilot, flew the warbird to Oshkosh where it was on display for the entire week on Boeing Plaza. The annual Oshkosh aviation celebration set another record this year with more than 730,000 people in attendance.
