May 23, 2026 – The BT-13 warbird featured in Crosswinds: The Courageous Life of Cornelia Fort, is owned by the National WASP WWII Museum in Sweetwater, Texas. In July, the WASP Museum will be flying the plane to EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Crosswinds will be shown at AirVenture on Wednesday, July 22 at 2:30 p.m. in the SkyScape Theater in the EAA Museum. Leslie Sargent, retired FAA inspector and Crosswind’s aviation consultant, will be available to answer questions on July 22 after the documentary. Viewers can then see the BT-13 in person at the flight line for a fantastic aviation experience.
